Fluvanna Ruritan Club

Founded in 1939, we are the oldest community service organization in Fluvanna County.
From the design, construction and maintenance of the 'Welcome to Fluvanna' signs on route 15 to the creation of Ruritan Lake State Park, we have been living the Ruritan motto of "making our communities a better place to live through Fellowship, Goodwill, and Community Service."
Active at local events, we raise funds to donate to deserving Fluvanna students for college scholarship and also for students to attend Fork Union Military Academy. You may have even seen us providing golf cart transportation in the parking lot of county events.
Our membership is open to anyone and we have a monthly meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm in the Wilmington Club in Kents Store.
